Recent Ransomware Impacts on Credit Unions

As you may be aware, last month there was a large-scale cyberattack that impacted 60 credit unions across the United States. Unfortunately, this is a bit of very negative news associated with the credit union industry. As solutions advisors, Dynamic Quest would like to take the time to reinforce the need for credit unions to apply special attention to its technology and cybersecurity posture. Although there is no way to be 100% protected from cybersecurity attacks, LEVERAGE has partnered with Dynamic Quest to help provide our credit unions with a layered approach to the best industry standard solutions to protect against unwanted attacks.

Key security layers that help protect your business environment include technologies such as:

  • Security Operations Center (SOC)/Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) Monitoring and Alerting
  • System Patching for Security
  • EndPoint Protection Solutions
  • Mobile Device Management
  • And other key security-risk support tools

If you have any questions or concerns about the security posture for your credit union, please contact a LEVERAGE Business Development Consultant at consult@myleverage.com to find out more about how to protect your environment to the best levels possible.
