Enter your credit union for LSCU Awards: Last year, Anise was honored as Professional of the Year

There’s still time for credit unions to earn accolades and to give credit where it’s due. Nominations for the 2020 LSCU Awards are open now and close Monday, March 16. It’s time to shine a light on the people and credit unions in our industry who deserve recognition and often remain behind the scenes.

LSCU Award categories are:

  • Distinguished Service Award
  • Professional of the Year
  • Young Professional of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Credit Union of the Year: up to $100 million in assets
  • Credit Union of the Year: $100-$500 million in assets
  • Credit Union of the Year: $500 million or more

Last year’s Professional of the Year award winner was Ola Anise of Azalea City Credit Union, an inspiration to members of his community, as well as to other leaders in the credit union industry.

“Credit unions work hard every day to make a positive difference in people’s lives,” said Jordan Burroughs, vice president of member engagement for the LSCU. “It is important to recognize those credit unions, employees, volunteers and young professionals who are leading the way in the credit union movement. There are so many great examples of credit unions and individuals doing amazing work for their members, employees and communities, and that is worth celebrating.”
