Denelle Miller’s journey from nursing to CEO of FiCare Federal Credit Union reflects her deep commitment to serving others. After 17 years in the credit union industry, she now leads FiCare Federal Credit Union, a $80 million institution supporting healthcare professionals, while also advocating for Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids), a program benefiting Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals.
Denelle’s leadership is grounded in a caregiver’s mindset. “Helping people financially is like helping them physically,” she says. Under her leadership, FiCare Federal Credit Union fosters a culture of philanthropy, including regular support for local children’s hospitals with initiatives like crayon bags and fidget kits.
Her commitment to children’s health grew more personal after her son required urgent care at just one month old. This experience fuels her passion for CU4Kids, where she now serves as chairwoman for the inaugural CMN Night of Miracles Gala on Thursday, June 12, in Orlando, Florida. The event was made possible by a collaboration with Samantha Beeler, President of The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates, who reached out to Denelle to lead the initiative.
Denelle’s leadership in both her credit union and with CU4Kids exemplifies her dedication to making a difference in the lives of children and families.
