More credit unions sign on to Apple pay

Apple PayWednesday morning Apple announced that 18 more credit unions and banks have signed on to offer Apple pay. Among the new credit unions is Envision Credit Union, based in Tallahassee. There are nine total new credit unions offering Apple Pay.

Another round of providers is expected to be announced later this month when Apple introduces its IOS 9 updates that will include renaming Passbook to Wallet. Currently Apple pay is accepted in the United States and Britain.
