A federal court in D.C. turned down CFPB Deputy Director Leandra English’s motion for an injunction that would block the appointment of Mick Mulvaney as Acting Director.

Judge Timothy Kelly denied the request by English to become the Acting Director.  This was the second time he ruled against English, saying the Federal Vacancies Reform Act gives the President the authority to appoint Mulvaney.
