Central Florida Educators Federal Credit Union, Regional Director of High School Branches, and 2017 LSCU Young Professional of the Year, Megan Jackson was one of 16 credit union executives accepted to Filene i3, which Filene describes as a “program with a legacy of fostering the development of new ideas and innovations for credit unions.”

Each i3 member serves a two-year term that kicks off at Filene’s annual big.bright.minds, which is scheduled for Austin, TX, in December.

The Filene Research Institute, which oversees the i3 program, said it has led to more than 200 “innovative concepts” in its first decade, helping to “save consumers millions of dollars, brought new efficiency to credit unions, and even changed a few laws.”

The program, which emphasizes concept innovation followed by prototype testing and implementation, is led by Andrew Downin.
