Katie BaileyThis week, The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates Board of Directors has voted to approve the proposed merger with the MD|DC Credit Union Association. The proposed merger would create an industry-leading organization serving credit unions across Alabama, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, and Virginia.
As the process moves forward, The League is focused on hearing directly from members and ensuring credit unions have opportunities to ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about what the proposed merger would mean for their organizations.
Members are invited to attend an upcoming Town Hall near them to learn more about the proposed merger, ask questions, and share feedback. Calendar invitations for the Town Halls have been sent to members. Members who have questions about joining a Town Hall can contact Tobi Weingart at Tobi.Weingart@the-league.coop.
In the coming weeks, The League will also host a member meeting to review the proposed merger with the MD|DC Credit Union Association and the related Amendment to the Bylaws. Additional information about the meeting and the proposed merger will be shared with members.
