Samantha A.M. Beeler Appointed to AACUL Board

Samantha A.M. Beeler, President of The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates, has been appointed to the American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL) Board, amplifying our system’s voice in national advocacy strategy. Her appointment comes at a pivotal time as AACUL continues its work to align priorities, strengthen collaboration, and prepare the movement for the next Congress and administration.

During the AACUL Winter Conference, Samantha highlighted the importance of making the system’s work more visible to credit unions. “If we don’t talk about the system, people don’t know the system,” said Samantha A.M. Beeler. “Credit unions built this apparatus together, and we need to make sure they see where their voice fits into it.”

She also emphasized the committee’s multi-phase efforts to evaluate long-term competitiveness, understand future policy needs, and shape a proactive advocacy agenda informed by league and credit union input. Her leadership on the AACUL Board ensures that our states have a strong presence in these national conversations, supporting the shared strategy that keeps the credit union movement moving forward.
