Apply by July 16 to be on the Credit Union Advisory Council

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is now accepting applications for its Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC). The CUAC is one of four CFPB advisory committees – Consumer Advisory Board, Community Bank Advisory Council, and the Academic Research Council. Applications are due on July 16.

The CUAC provides the CFPB with the credit union perspective regarding consumer financial products and services regulation. Council members share information, analysis, and recommendations to better inform the CFPB’s policy development, rulemaking, and engagement work.

For more information, visit the Federal Register notice, including qualifications for each committee and details on how to apply.
