Resources and Support Available for Small Credit Unions

The League’ s Office of Small Credit Unions provides dedicated resources and support to credit unions with up to $250 million in assets, helping them strengthen operations, develop their teams, and better serve their members and communities.

Small credit unions can take advantage of resources and support including:

  • Free Training Portal – Access training and professional development resources at no cost.
  • Small Credit Union Mentorship Network – Connect with fellow credit union professionals as a mentor or mentee to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices.
  • Grant Opportunities through the CU Impact Foundation – Explore funding opportunities including Credit Union Development Grants, Community Impact Grants, Professional Development Grants, Progress Funds, and Sustainability Grants.
  • Dedicated Consultant – Receive personalized support and guidance from a League consultant.
  • Strategic Planning Sessions – Work with The League to facilitate strategic planning sessions tailored to your credit union.
  • Access to InfoSight360 – Utilize compliance and operational resources to help navigate regulatory requirements.
  • Virtual Small Credit Union Roundtables – Connect with peers to discuss challenges, exchange ideas, and share solutions.
  • HR Hotline – Get support and guidance for human resources questions and challenges.
