Katie BaileyFiCare Federal Credit Union brought the heart of the credit union mission to life this Thanksgiving through a new initiative supported by the Credit Union Impact Foundation. With assistance from Foundation resources, FiCare Federal Credit Union created a food pantry at their Wesley Chapel branch stocked with non-perishable items for neighbors to choose from, along with gift cards for their holiday ham or turkey.
The response was immediate and heartfelt. As individuals came through the pantry, the FiCare Federal Credit Union team witnessed moments of gratitude, relief, and connection that reflected the true meaning of people helping people. This effort showed how Foundation support can help credit unions extend their service beyond financial products and create meaningful community impact.
