There’s Still Time to Join the AHFA Zoom RoundTable

Don’t miss out on the Alabama Housing Finance Authority’s (AHFA) Zoom RoundTable Discussion on August 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.! The RoundTable provides an opportunity to discuss developing a program to assist Alabama families struggling with mortgage delinquency due to the pandemic.

The Alabama Housing Finance Authority was authorized by Governor Kay Ivey to administer the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Homeowner Assistance Fund in Alabama. The fund was created to prevent home mortgage loan delinquencies, defaults, and foreclosures resulting from hardships related to the pandemic. Homeowners that have experienced financial hardship after January 21, 2020 due to the pandemic, may be eligible for assistance.

Anyone who has knowledge about loan or property types that should be considered, as well as the tactics that will most greatly benefit Alabamians, should attend this Zoom RoundTable Discussion.
