Seven credit unions were recently recognized by Habitat for Humanity of Bay County for their collaboration in bringing the Credit Union House to life.
All In Credit Union, Champions First Credit Union, Hello Credit Union, Innovations Financial Credit Union, Loyalty Credit Union, Panhandle Credit Union, and Tyndall Federal Credit Union joined forces to support the project. Over the past year, credit union staff rolled up their sleeves across six build days to help make the home possible for a local family.
During Habitat for Humanity of Bay County’s Annual Meeting, each participating credit union received a plaque recognizing its contributions to the Credit Union House.

Mike Akers, President and CEO of Hello Credit Union, was also presented with the President’s Award of the Golden Hammer for coordinating the project and seeing it through from start to finish. Akers also received a bedazzled toolbox commemorating the achievement.
Congratulations to all seven credit unions and Akers for demonstrating the credit union difference through collaboration and service to their community.
