Gulf Winds Credit Union, located in Pensacola, Florida, is proud to contribute a $10,000 gift to Council on Aging of West Florida to advance programs that help aging adults maintain healthy, independent lives. On Giving Tuesday, Gulf Winds Credit Union presented the second half of the donation — $5,000 — as the final part of a month-long matching campaign.
For over 50 years, Council on Aging of West Florida has transformed the lives of aging adults in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Through vital programs like Meals on Wheels, The Retreat, and Senior Companion services, they ensure seniors have the resources to live a life that’s healthy, safe, and full of possibility.
“We are so grateful for the support Gulf Winds Credit Union has shown through continuous donations and hands-on effort,” said Josh Newby, Council on Aging of West Florida President and CEO. “Together, we are changing lives and giving aging adults the opportunity to thrive while staying healthy, active, and independent.”
Gulf Winds Credit Union is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with Council on Aging, supporting programs that promote health and independence for older members of our community. Through annual contributions, event sponsorships, and hands-on volunteer efforts, Gulf Winds Credit Union demonstrates its ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of aging adults in our area.
“At Gulf Winds Credit Union, we believe every stage of life should be lived with dignity and connection,” said Pam Hatt, Chief Marketing and Growth Officer. “Our partnership with Council on Aging allows us to invest in programs that support aging adults while strengthening our community. We are grateful to help care for those who once cared for us.”
