Blue Eagle Credit Union announces $10,000 in Scholarships Rewarded

In Roanoke, Virginia, ten students have been recognized for their accomplishments and awarded $1,000 each toward their higher education expenses. These ten students were selected for the Blue Eagle Credit Union Alexander Scholarship from a near record number of applications.

2026 Recipients: Ellison Fulcher, Parneet Gill, Samuel Grooten, William Huff, Donna Jennings, Taylor Malone, Ryleigh Marra, Layla McCall, Thomas Rexrode, and Lucas Shubert.

“Education is a key factor to being successful in everything you do in life. Knowledge equips you for reaching your next goal, whatever that is, and is why we encourage learning through our many unique education programs, including the Alexander Scholarship,” Blue Eagle Credit Union Senior Brand Specialist Laurissa Thompson said.

The Blue Eagle Credit Union Alexander Scholarship isn’t just for graduating high school seniors. Anyone seeking higher education and meeting the eligibility requirements may apply. The Credit Union awards $10,000 annually.
