Katie BaileyAlabama ONE Credit Union is celebrating 75 years of service, growth, and community impact throughout 2026 with Branch Celebrations taking place at each of its 31 branches across Alabama.
What began in 1951 with seven charter members, $35, and a cigar box has grown into a statewide cooperative committed to serving communities across the state. Each celebration includes anniversary decorations, treats, Alabama ONE Credit Union swag, and a $750 donation to a local nonprofit selected by the branch.
As part of the milestone anniversary, Alabama ONE Credit Union also unveiled a limited-edition 75th Anniversary T-shirt featuring artwork inspired by the towns, landmarks, and communities connected to its branches across Alabama, along with a commemorative video reflecting on the credit union’s history and continued commitment to its members and communities.
Originally founded as TRW Federal Credit Union, Alabama ONE Credit Union has continued expanding its reach through community growth, mergers, and service to rural Alabama while remaining focused on financial security and community connection.
