The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) announced its twelfth round of proposed regulatory changes on October 14 as part of its ongoing Deregulation Project.
The three proposals aim to reduce regulatory burdens and simplify requirements related to fidelity bond and insurance coverage, federal credit union incidental powers, and the Central Liquidity Facility.
Credit unions are encouraged to review the proposals and submit comments by December 14, 2026.
