Decline arrow_copy_1On Tuesday, Callahan and Associates released its first look trends on statistics from the second quarter. It ranked the top 10 states with the greatest improvement in delinquencies year over year. Florida ranked fourth behind Delaware, Alaska, and North Carolina. Florida’s delinquencies stand at 0.99 percent for an .11 percent improvement from a year earlier.

This continues a decline in delinquencies in Florida. Four years ago the delinquency rate for credit unions was over two percent. To see a 1.20 percent decline in delinquencies shows that loans are coming back and much stronger loans are being made.

Alabama’s delinquency rate continues to be low at .79 percent. Over the past four years, the delinquency rate has fallen about .60 percent. Check out Callahan and Associates Twitter feed for more quarterly trends.
