Nominate a Credit Union Visionary for the Distinguished Service Award

The nomination portal is open for the 2025 League Awards. Celebrate your credit union’s achievements by nominating them for the Distinguished Service Award! The nomination portal will remain open until Friday, March 20, at 5:00 p.m. ET. You can find the specific criteria listed in the 2025 The League Awards brochure.

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to the credit union philosophy. Honorees have gone above and beyond their professional roles to make a lasting impact at the chapter, state, or national levels. In Virginia, this award is known as the James P. Kirsch Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring a legacy of excellence.

Nominees must demonstrate:

  • A lifelong record of service and voluntary efforts that extend beyond professional duties.
  • Significant contributions to the credit union movement, reflecting a legacy of positive change.

One individual from The League’s footprint will be recognized unless the Awards Committee determines otherwise.

Award recipients will be notified confidentially, with honors presented during the ENGAGE Conference in Orlando, Florida, June 9–12.

Take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your credit union’s impact and success in the credit union movement!
