Katie BaileyGeorgia United Credit Union Board Chairman Tom Dickson will retire at the end of 2026, concluding nearly three decades of dedicated service to the credit union and its members.
Since joining Georgia United’s Board of Directors in 1997 and becoming chairman in 2009, Dickson has helped guide the credit union through significant growth while remaining committed to the credit union mission.
Beyond his leadership at Georgia United, Dickson has a distinguished history of public service, including serving in the Georgia House of Representatives and as an educator and school superintendent.
The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates congratulates Dickson on his remarkable years of leadership and thanks him for his longstanding commitment to Georgia’s credit unions, their members, and the communities they serve.
