CDRLF Grant Round Offers Expanded Opportunities for Low-Income Credit Unions

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) has announced the 2025 Community Development Revolving Loan Fund (CDRLF) grant round, making more than $3.4 million available to support low-income-designated (LID) credit unions. The program helps LID credit unions expand services, strengthen operations, and promote financial inclusion within their communities.

New this year, applicants may apply for two separate initiatives, though only one award will be made per credit union, and those not selected for a grant may convert their application into a loan request. Funding will be available across six categories, including technology and AI, training, innovation, underserved outreach, internships, and new charter capacity building.

Applications will be accepted Wednesday, October 15 – Tuesday, December 16.
