Inclusiv will launch the Build and Save Matched Savings Initiative on August 25, with applications due by September 8. The program provides grants of $50,000 to $75,000 to help credit unions create or expand matched savings programs that strengthen financial stability and connect members to vital services like education, coaching, and counseling.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Federal or state-chartered credit union in the U.S.
- Current Inclusiv member in good standing (or prepared to join before receiving a grant)
- Capacity to manage a matched savings program, either already in place or ready to launch within six months
- Delivery of financial empowerment services directly or through a trusted community partner
The initiative highlights how credit unions can advance financial inclusion with innovative products that help members save more and reach their goals.
