The League attends 60th Annual NASCUS State System Summit

The League was proud to join the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) in celebrating its 60th anniversary with a deep dive into key issues facing credit unions across our four-state footprint. Sessions included discussions on digital assets, the steady rise of fintechs, green lending, artificial intelligence, fraud prevention, and the economic outlook for the years ahead.

Brian Wolfburg, President and CEO of VyStar Credit Union and chair of the NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council, presented the 2025 Pierre Jay Award to long-time Oregon credit union regulator Janet Powell, who has served credit unions for more than 33 years (pictured).

The League is a proud NASCUS member and thanks the team for their continued efforts to bring together state regulators, state and federal credit unions, leagues, and industry partners. This collaboration is essential to maintaining a strong dual-chartering system and ensuring that competition remains top of mind for the credit union system.
