Michelle Roth to Lead Advocacy Efforts as Chief Advocacy Officer

The League is proud to announce the promotion of Michelle Roth to Chief Advocacy Officer.

Since joining The League in 2022, Roth has drawn on more than 15 years of experience in government affairs and consulting to advance the interests of credit unions across Alabama and throughout the region. In addition to leading advocacy efforts in Montgomery, she has spearheaded PAC and grassroots engagement initiatives, driving meaningful innovation and strengthening credit union participation in the legislative process.

As Chief Advocacy Officer, Roth will lead The League’s advocacy strategy, working alongside credit union leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to advance policies that support credit unions and the members they serve.

Roth’s promotion reflects The League’s continued commitment to strong advocacy and ensuring credit unions have a powerful voice at the state and federal levels.
