adminThe League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates is pleased to introduce Florida’s newest advocacy team member and Political Action & Grassroots Manager John Rothell. With nearly 20 years of political and legislative experience, John brings his unique talents and perspective to the League’s advocacy efforts and will have a concentrated focus on PAC fundraising and grassroots activities.
John has a passion for political advocacy and is a veteran of the association environment. He started his professional career with the Florida Senate Majority Office, followed by two years with the Florida Institute of CPAs. He then spent 13 years at the Florida Association of Realtors, starting as a political representative, responsible for political fundraising and grassroots throughout the state of Florida, and the last 11 years as the director of political operations, in charge of PAC fundraising, as well as expenditures and grassroots coordination.
When not working, John enjoys spending time with his wife Jill and two boys, Carter (13) and Foster (6), watching soccer, flag football, or whichever sport they may be involved in at that time.
