In the late 18th century, American patriots and advocates from thirteen distinct colonies came together to establish what would become one of the most prosperous and free nations in history. Some gave their lives, while others contributed their wisdom and intellectual gifts to the creation of our state and national constitutions and systems of government. Now, as we approach a significant milestone in our nation’s history, we have an opportunity to reflect on that legacy.
This June 9-12, at ENGAGE, The League looks forward to celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary at our biggest event of the year. To honor this historic occasion, The League is keeping advocacy center stage and creating meaningful opportunities for engagement, learning, and connection around the issues that matter most to the credit union movement.
Join us for state and federal committee meetings featuring regulatory guests, as well as a dedicated advocacy panel hosted by Chief Advocacy Officer Sydney Seral. These sessions will offer timely insights into the policy landscape and the challenges and opportunities ahead for credit unions at both the state and federal levels. Expert political strategists Tharon Johnson and Brian Robinson will tackle timely topics, including the current political landscape, economic trends, and what’s ahead for upcoming elections at the 2026 Advocacy Luncheon.
Whether you’re a first-time attendee or have attended ENGAGE for decades, there will be something for you. We invite you to mark your calendars today and make plans to join us at ENGAGE as we continue building momentum together through civic engagement.
