Representing The League on the tour is Tobi Weingart, Senior Vice President of Member and Industry Engagement, who has been exchanging ideas, deepening relationships, and bringing actionable insights back to our four-state footprint.
From Gdańsk to Warsaw, participants are seeing firsthand how collaboration transcends borders and how credit unions are rebuilding trust, expanding access, and fostering resilience amid economic and social challenges. The tour highlights the universal impact of the credit union philosophy of people helping people — a principle that continues to inspire and strengthen communities impacted by credit unions worldwide.
“Each time I have the opportunity to connect with credit union peers around the world, I’m reminded that the real magic isn’t just in collaboration, it’s in honoring what makes each of our credit union systems unique,” says Tobi Weingart. “Those differences are what help us learn from one another, stretch our thinking, and grow together — all while staying rooted in the same cooperative purpose that unites us.”
