The League of Credit Unions is committed to maximizing the political influence of credit unions across our four-state footprint and in Washington, D.C. Generous contributions to The League Political Action Committees (PAC) and Advocacy Fund strengthen relationships with both first-time candidates and experienced incumbents who understand and support the credit union mission.
Join Us for a PAC and Advocacy Fund Town Hall!
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 26, as The League hosts a virtual Town Hall focused on PACs and The Advocacy Fund. We’ll share key updates from across our states, provide helpful information, and answer any questions you have.
Want to pre-register? Contact Josie Ellis at josie.ellis@the-league.coop.
In the meantime, there are several ways you and your credit union can support advocacy through giving. We invite you to explore how you might contribute to these vital efforts.
The League FedPAC (Personal Contributions):
You can engage in advocacy today by making a contribution to The League’s Federal Political Action Committee (FedPAC). Contributions support the election of federal candidates, regardless of party, who value and champion the credit union difference. You can give through:
- Online donations
- ACH or check
- Payroll deductions (if your credit union participates)
Each credit union has received a sheet outlining its 2025 FedPAC goals. Award letters are being prepared and distributed to those who have already met their goals for the year.
The League CUPACs and Advocacy Fund (Corporate Contributions):
The League also accepts corporate contributions to state Credit Union Political Action Committees (CUPAC) and The Advocacy Fund.
By contributing to your state CUPAC, your credit union helps amplify the voice of the credit union movement in your state capitol by supporting candidates who champion our cause.
Advocacy Fund contributions power strategic initiatives such as public awareness campaigns and targeted advocacy efforts that educate thousands and strengthen long-term political influence.
Thanks to the generosity of credit unions and advocates across all four states, The League has raised over $725,000 toward our 2025 goal, reaching 54% of our overall target. We’re off to a strong start, and with your support, we can finish strong.
If your credit union hasn’t yet contributed, we invite you to join the hundreds already making a difference. Together, we are advancing the future of the credit union movement.
