APCU/Center Parc Credit Union Celebrates Grand Opening of New Headquarters

APCU/Center Parc Credit Union in Atlanta, Georgia celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters facility and branch with a ribbon cutting and building dedication on Tuesday, July 22. More than 200 city leaders and credit union members joined APCU/Center Parc executives, the board of directors and team members as they officially opened the 100,000-square-foot facility in Hapeville.

“A hundred years ago, APCU/Center Parc changed the financial landscape of Georgia as we know it as the first chartered credit union in the state. Now, as we have broken ground and opened the doors to our new headquarters, we seek to change the next 100 years of the landscape, not only in Georgia, but nationwide,” President and CEO Blake Graham said. “We have a tremendous team of employees, managers and executives, as well as our board of directors and committee members, that help guide our strategic direction so that we continue to keep our members first. As we continue the next 100 years of this long legacy of a financial institution, we look forward to your continued support and your encouragement.”

APCU/Center Parc Chairman of the Board of Directors David Disharoon also spoke and proudly dedicated the building to the loyal members of the credit union.

“It’s what happens inside these walls that matters most,” he said. “It’s where financial goals will be set and reached. Where our members and employees will experience the kind of service and care that sets us apart.”

With member service and convenience at the forefront of the design, the facility features contemporary touches and member-centric spaces, as well as advanced security technology to ensure the utmost protection for members’ financial transactions and data. The headquarters is also home to a new full-service branch offering extended hours, dedicated spaces for financial consultations, state-of-the-art ITMs, and advanced digital banking capabilities. As employee development and work culture are relative to members’ financial success, the headquarters features a dedicated training center, recreation areas and room for additions to accommodate further growth.

In going beyond business operations, the headquarters is an asset to the Hapeville community and beyond, housing a conference space that can be utilized by not only members, but also government, civic, non-profit, and industry organizations. The conference space can be altered to accommodate as many as 500 people or partitioned out for a refined, small-group atmosphere.
