Lizeth GeorgeCredit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) is excited to celebrate 25 years of supporting the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals by raising the critical funds needed to help close the funding gap for children’s hospitals across the country.
To celebrate this milestone, CMN Hospitals is launching CU4Kids 25th Year Fundraising Challenge by asking local credit unions to make a one-time donation in recognition of this major milestone.
An unexpected injury or diagnosis of a child can be devastating for the entire family, both emotionally and financially. It’s estimated that up to 50% of kids who end up at a children’s hospital, did not anticipate it. In additional to needing care relative to the pandemic, everyday life happens with broken bones, other respiratory illnesses, long-term patient care for kids with cancer or transplants and the moments in between.
