Join the LSCU Advocacy Team for the Virtual Hike the Hill

The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates’ (LSCU) Advocacy Team is excited to host a virtual Hike the Hill from October 18 – 22, 2021.

In addition to this virtual platform, the Advocacy Team visited Washington, D.C. and met with lawmakers from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia in September. The team discussed top credit union priorities such as the pending IRS regulations, credit card interchange fees, banks selling to credit unions, and the preservation of the credit union tax exemption.

The Advocacy team intends to schedule meetings with Senate offices, Financial Services committee members, Ways & Means committee members, and other key lawmakers.

Please visit www.lscu.coop/hikethehill for the virtual meeting schedule, meeting resources, and registration information.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to any member of your LSCU Advocacy Team.
