Good Bad Credit Shows Consumer Financial Record

Credit Matters for Credit Union Members

COVID-19 has made many feel anxious about many things including our financial health during these uncertain times. That’s why the three national credit reporting agencies gave people weekly access to monitor our credit reports for free and have extended that benefit until April 20, 2022.

Being about to check our credit report is one of the best tools to help manage our financial information and health. Credit reports have important information related to our credit and payment history. This information is used by lenders, credit unions and other businesses use when we are looking for loans or credit.

The three credit reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian, and Transunion, are offering everyone who is eligible to get free weekly credit reports until April 20, 2022. To get your free reports, go to AnnualCreditReport.com.
