LSCU Awards Nominations Opening February 18! Are you ready?

Nominations for the 2020 LSCU Awards will be opening this Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021. Acknowledge your favorite LSCU affiliated credit union or someone in the credit union industry in Alabama, Florida and/or Georgia so they may be honored for their contributions to the credit union movement.

“The LSCU enjoys celebrating our affiliated credit unions’ achievements each year by presenting these awards to individuals and credit unions that have distinguished themselves with noteworthy efforts,” said Jordan Burroughs, LSCU’s vice president of member engagement. “These awards recognize leaders who are working to transform our industry, to make sure credit unions continue to lead the way.”

The League encourages all affiliated members to nominate individuals or credit unions for these categories:

  • Distinguished Service Award
  • Young Professional of the Year Award
  • Volunteer of the Year Awards
  • Professional of the Year Awards
  • Credit Union of the Year Awards

Learn more about each award and submit nominations here. Nominations are due by 5:00 pm ET March 26, 2021.

Award winners will be recognized at the Southeast Credit Union Conference and Expo held at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Fla. June 18-20, 2021.

Winners will be confidentially notified in advance of the LSCU Awards ceremony in the hopes they can make arrangements to receive the award in person.

And to make the process even easier, join LSCU Director of Communications Ann Naiman on Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. ET for the “LSCU Awards vs. CUNA Awards” webinar. Attendees will learn about the submission process, learn about key dates and learn more about the CUNA Awards.
