Biden appoints Harper new NCUA Chairman

The LSCU congratulates the Hon. Todd M. Harper for his appointment as the new National Credit Union Administration Chairman by President Joe Biden. Harper was confirmed as an NCUA Board member by the U.S. Senate in March 2019 and was sworn in April 8, 2019.

His resume includes serving as the director of NCUA’s Office of Public and Congressional Affairs and as the chief policy advisor to Chairman Debbie Matz and Rick Metsger. He holds the distinction of being the first NCUA staff member to be appointed to the NCUA Board.

Chairman Harper is a graduate of Indiana University and he holds a graduates degree in public policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
