Spread the good news about your CU’s donation benefiting virtual education

The LSCU would like to help spread the word about affiliated credit unions that have donated to benefit local students who otherwise would have been at a disadvantage in the age of virtual learning.

If your credit union has donated money to a local school or district with the intention of providing computers and/or internet access to students who would have struggled with COVID-19-related virtual learning, be sure to let your local media know! Click here to view pre-written press release templates your credit union can customize to spread this inspirational news. You’ll find the templates under the “Free Messaging for Members and Staff” tab.

Also, please let the League know about any donations of this nature by emailing submissions@lscu.coop. We’ll use this information to help inform the media, consumers, and lawmakers about the credit union difference.

Keep up the great work!
