Bruce Ricca, chief of the Bureau of Credit Unions for the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, was originally scheduled to retire from the agency on May 31, instead served his last day in this post on April 30.

While no replacement has been named as of yet, the LSCU has already engaged the leadership at OFR to help with the process. In the interim, Director of Financial Institutions Jeremy Smith will be responsible for credit union specific items. The League will continue to provide updates to our credit unions as the process to replace Ricca continues.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact LSCU’s Senior VP, Association Services & Governmental Affairs Jared Ross.
