The Birmingham Chapter of Credit Unions met Feb. 13 at UAB Bartow Arena’s Green and Gold Room. Dave Davis of Legacy Credit Union, chapter president, led the meeting and introduced guest speaker Josh Carpenter, Ph.D.
Carpenter, who serves as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Birmingham, leads a team focused on executing a vision of making Birmingham a hub of qualified and diverse talent and a premier destination for small businesses, startups, and businesses looking to expand, propelling shared prosperity through innovation and inclusive growth.
